Chen Yu-hui[3] (simplified Chinese: 陈宇慧; traditional Chinese: 陳宇慧; pinyin: Chén Yǔhuì) is a Taiwanese wuxia writer and a director of ABN AMRO (Hong Kong).
She is the daughter of Chen Li-an, the former president of the Control Yuan.[4]
Born in Taipei,[5] Taiwan, in 1973, she emigrated to Hong Kong in 1995. She speaks fluent Taiwanese Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
Chen is best known in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong for her wuxia novel Duoqing Langzi Chiqing Xia (Chinese: 多情浪子痴情侠; pinyin: Duō qíng làng zǐ chī qíng xiá), which won the Wuxia Novel Competition 2006 (2006 武侠小说大赛) under the pen name Zheng Feng[2](simplified Chinese: 郑丰; traditional Chinese: 鄭丰; pinyin: Zhèng Fēng), which is taken from her husband's surname, Zheng, and the upper-left corner part in the second Chinese character of her first name. This debut novel was published as 天觀雙俠 in Taiwan, which was its original name.[6]
Chen is the granddaughter of Chen Cheng, the 3rd term vice president of the Republic of China; the daughter of Chen Li-an, the former president of Control Yuan. She has four brothers.[7] She graduated from the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (HSNU) in 1990 and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1995.
Chen and her husband have four children.[4]
